Writing Paragraphs: Homework due November 29

1. Review "run-on sentence" and "sentence fragment" exercises from past homeworks (englishforeveryone.org and in your course packet). Do the exercises if you have not already. We will go over these in class.
2. Read "Thanksgiving" by Elaine Kirn (in your course packet). Write the main idea in one complete sentence.

We will do the midterm paragraph on November 29th.

  2. I am sorry that today was very confusing. I am confused as well!

You may do the midterm exercise at home if you like. I will correct it and hand it back to you. We will not try to do it again in class.

  3. hi , ms maddie and my friend abd elhakim,
i want just to say somethings , that
1; what happened yesterday is normal because in our university there are some tradition , and it is frobidden to interrupt it .
2: what is happened its benefits is for us not for someone , and that event isn't mean that we don't respect the teacher or something like that ,indeed we respect and loce our teacher
3: i will give an example , in the time when we did the midtrem there was a problem in back speakers ( les bafes), so i didn't do well in it and as result i don't a good mark.
4: i want just to say to our lovely teacher , we are awfully sorry about that's event .
